About this service
Lifting, turning and moving an adult patient safely takes strength and training. Our male attendants — many families call them nursing brothers — look after male patients and heavy, bedridden or critical patients at home and in hospital, with the patience and respect you would expect from family.
General attendants help with daily personal care and mobility. Critical care attendants are experienced with patients discharged from the ICU — those on oxygen, Ryle's tube feeding, catheters or bed rest — and work alongside the family's nurse and doctor, alerting them early to any change.
Choose a 12-hour day or night shift, or a 24-hour stay duty attendant who lives in with the patient on a monthly contract.
